1. How to Prepare

Your gown or garment begins with a discussion about your personal style. Browse Instagram, Pinterest, magazines, your closet, and anywhere else for inspiration photos.

Think about where you'll be wearing your garment. How do you want to look, How should it make you feel?

The more detail you're able to provide me with, the better I can execute your vision.

2. Measurements

After our initial conversation, we'll meet in-person where I'll compile a 26-point measurement profile.

Please allow up to 30 minutes for our measurement meeting, and wear form-fitting clothing (think leggings, sports bras, tight tank tops, etc.).

If you are a drag performer who wears pads and breast forms, don't forget to bring them, henny!

You're welcome to bring a friend or a loved one—the process of bespoke clothing is fun to observe!

3. Pricing

The price of each gown or garment is determined by two factors:

  1. Materials used
  2. Time needed to create the garment

A non-refundable deposit of 1/2 the final price quote is due when we finalize your material selection, and the balance is due upon completion of the garment.

I strive to be as honest and transparent about materials as possible

4. Construction

Depending on the garment, your piece will be ready between 2-4 weeks from when the initial deposit is received.

Measuring, drafting, cutting, sewing, and altering are all processes that go into the creation of every custom garment, so the more complex the piece, the longer it will take to create.

5. Fitting + Finishing

Once your garment is complete, we'll meet for a fitting. This fitting is a crucial part of the process, and you are welcome to bring a friend or a loved one for feedback.

Please allow 30-60 minutes for your fitting.

Depending on alterations, your garment will be ready between 2-7 days after your fitting.
After your fitting, we'll work together to coordinate final pickup* at either:

  • 35th Street and 7th Avenue in Manhattan on weekdays between 10 AM - 6 PM.
  • Downtown Jersey City next to the Grove Street PATH station on weekdays after 6 PM or on weekends.

* Garments may also be shipped to you for an additional shipping cost.

6. Care + Repair

Each garment is handmade with painstaking attention to detail and fit, and built to last.

To extend the life of your garment, you should:

  • Dry clean only unless otherwise noted
  • Avoid contact with bleach or other products that may cause discoloration

I understand that accidents happen. If you rip or have any issues with your garment,  please tell me so that I can check it out. I can't replace ripped, stained, or worn out garments, but if the damage is easily repairable, I'll be happy to see what I can do.
